ACORN VETERINARY SURGERY

staff pets
jack

                                    JACK

Jack was brought to the surgery a number of years back as a stray found badly injured on Altrincham Road. At one stage it was touch and go as to whether he would lose his right hind leg but he is full of spirit and mischief and that fight got him through all his hard times. His only problem now is he thinks he's four times bigger than he reallly is !!

                    ELLIE

Ellie was found and brought to the vets lost and bewildered. She then proceeded to produce two kittens the following day! Having homed the kittens, Ellie stayed with us. Ever one for a sedate and quiet life ...... food and cat napping are Ellie's pleasures in life

bella

                      BELLA

Bella is approximately 35 years old and is a spur thighed tortoise. She is the more dominant of the two tortoises and it isn't unknown for her to get a bit stroppy if she isn't getting her own way, and if you think tortoises are slow .... well Bella clearly hasn't read the books on tortoises!

                        BLOD

Blod is a similar age to Bella and whilst she also likes to explore too she also likes her sleep! Blod sustained some shell damage which is happily now healing over extremely well

delilah

Tragically killed in RTA 2004 RIP Delilah

   DELILAH  ( DEL )

Delilah is a very special cat. Arriving with us as a very very young stray kitten, she provided us with hours of amusement with her somersaults and contortions! Having then survived a greyhound assault which left her dangerously ill for a few days and out of sorts for a few weeks she slowly bounced back and has developed into a very gentle and ladylike adult cat
