	The selection of livestock for breeding , known as “fancying” first truly came into vogue in Vicorian times.


	Indeed selective breeding has now been carried out in a number of groups.

A huge variety of options now exist for the keen fancier particularly in say the case of the budgerigar.

Parrots tend to hold a special place in human affections probably because of their uncanny ability to be able to mimic human speech and other sounds. many parrots will become extremely tame and totally devoted to the family that have raised them.The true extent of the human bird bond is only now being properly appreciated
